Equifax, Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Leeds-based team. You will help build and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems, focusing on reliability, performance, and incident response across AWS/GCP and hybrid environments.

You will implement infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tooling while leading postmortems and remediation efforts. Strong scripting and cloud experience are essential.

Competenze

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required
• Extensive experience in software engineering, systems administration, database administration, and networking
• Experience developing and/or administering software in public cloud
• Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives
• Experience in languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript and/or Node.js
• Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases
• System administration skills, including automation and orchestration of Linux/Windows using Terraform, Chef, Ansible and/or containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices
• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

• Manage system uptime across cloud-native and hybrid architectures
• Build infrastructure as code patterns using Terraform and cloud SDKs
• Create CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and cloud-native toolchains
• Develop automated tooling to deploy service requests to production
• Lead blameless postmortems and drive action to remediate recurrences
• On-call for high-severity incidents and improve run books to reduce MTTR
