Job summary

Focaldata Ltd is seeking a Senior Research Executive for a FTC 6-month role in the Data Services team. The position offers £40,000–£46,000 annually, with office-based Mon–Thu or remote options in the UK.

You will run trackers and multi-market projects from start to finish, design questionnaires, coordinate translations, oversee fieldwork, quotas and data cleaning, and ensure timely, high-quality data delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in quantitative research, fieldwork management or operations.
• Hands-on trackers and multi-country studies experience.
• Strong survey design and scripting skills.
• Experience cleaning raw data and producing data tables.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Clear, confident client communication, especially timelines/scope.

Responsibilities

• Execute trackers and multi-market projects from start to finish.
• Design questionnaires, script, translate, fieldwork, quotas, and data tables across waves/countries.
• Maintain long-running projects, protect trend data and document changes.
• Manage fieldwork closely, monitor incidence, quotas, data quality, and risks.
• Serve as the client's operational lead and provide updates and timelines.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to improve platforms and processes.

What you'll do

You'll run Focaldata's trackers and multi-market projects from start to finish.

• Owning trackers and multi-market projects end to end. You'll handle questionnaire design when required, scripting, translation coordination, fieldwork, quotas, data cleaning and data tables, across waves and across countries.
• Keeping long-term projects consistent. You'll protect trend data and version control, and document changes.
• Managing fieldwork closely. You'll advise and watch incidence, quotas and data quality market by market, and flag risks before they become problems.
• Being the client's trusted operational lead. Clients will rely on you for clear updates, sound methodological advice and realistic timelines. You'll lead the day-to-day communication.
• Making delivery better. You'll work with our product and engineering teams to improve the platform and our processes, and suggest how we can run trackers and multi-market work more efficiently

Who you are (skills and experience)

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years' experience in quantitative research, fieldwork management or research operations.

Skills:

• Hands-on experience running trackers and/or multi-country studies
• Strong survey design and scripting skills
• Experience cleaning raw data and running data tables, with high standards for accuracy
• Excellent organisation. You can manage several long-running projects at once without dropping details.
• Clear, confident communication with clients, including when you need to push back on timelines or scope
