Search Consultancy Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager (SR163 PCSM) for a major National Grid substation project in Indian Queens, Cornwall. The role oversees on-site M&E activities, ensures safe, compliant delivery, and coordinates subcontractors.

Working hours are 07:30-17:30, 50 hours per week, at a daily rate of 600. Start ASAP for a contract lasting until 30 April 2027, with the opportunity to contribute to critical energy infrastructure.

Formación

• SR163/PCSM certification requirement.
• NG Person status or experience with National Grid projects.
• Proven M&E site management experience on live projects.
• Strong health and safety understanding in substations.
• Effective communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

Role Overview:
We are currently looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager / SR163 PCSM to support works on a major National Grid substation project in Indian Queens, Cornwall.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing M&E activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise M&E works on a live substation project
• Take responsibility for the safe delivery of works within your area
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and programmes
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality Liaise with site management and other project stakeholders
• Monitor progress and identify any issues or potential delays
• Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with relevant procedures and permits
• Provide leadership and direction to site teams

• Previous experience working on National Grid substation projects
• M&E site management experience
• Manual Handling
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within a substation environment
• Good communication and organisational skills
