Job Title: Sr. Workday Integration Specialist
Location: 100% remote

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Workday Integration Specialist with deep expertise in both HCM (Human Capital Management) and FINS (Financials) integrations, as well as security administration within the Workday environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for a professional with 7-8 years of experience in Workday integrations. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between Workday and various internal and third-party systems, supporting our complex financial and HR processes. As a key member of the IT team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams within the hedge fund to drive successful integration projects. You will also play a vital role in configuring and managing Workday security to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of our sensitive business and employee data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workday Integration Expertise: Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday integrations for both HCM and FINS modules.
- Develop and manage integrations using Workday Studio, Workday’s web services (REST/SOAP), and other integration tools.
- Ensure the smooth flow of data between Workday and various third-party platforms, such as financial systems, payroll vendors, benefits providers, etc.
- Security Administration:
- Manage and implement Workday security policies, ensuring proper access controls for users across various roles and business units.
- Configure security groups, roles, and permissions based on internal requirements while maintaining strict compliance with data privacy regulations.
- System Maintenance and Optimization:
- Monitor and troubleshoot existing integrations to ensure continuous functionality.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and integration enhancements as required.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and HR/Finance teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions that meet business needs.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for end users, assisting with any technical issues related to Workday integrations or security access.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain detailed documentation for all integrations and security configurations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience working as a Workday Integration Specialist or a similar role, with a focus on HCM and FINS integrations.
- Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP), and other Workday integration tools.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Security Administration, including configuring security roles, permissions, and user access for various business units.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end integration processes, from design to deployment and maintenance.
- Experience with financial systems integration, especially in a hedge fund or financial services environment, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of data privacy standards and security protocols in Workday, such as GDPR and SOC 2.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and think critically to resolve integration problems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in the hedge fund or investment management industry.
- Familiarity with Workday Reporting and Analytics.
- Experience in managing integration-related projects and timelines.
- Proficiency with Prism Analytics: Demonstrated ability to leverage Workday Prism for data integration, transformation, and reporting.
