About This Role

As the Senior TPM in Global Corporate Procurement (GCP) Tech org, you'll lead the effort to revamp Amazon's existing procurement landscape by building new, innovative applications from the ground up. This initiative will revolutionize how Amazonians purchase what they need to do their jobs, combining advanced search capabilities, AI-powered assistance, and streamlined approvals into a cohesive procurement ecosystem.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind one of Amazon's most impactful internal initiatives. Success means expertly balancing strategic program leadership with hands-on execution. You'll develop comprehensive program plans that align multiple engineering teams and business stakeholders toward common goals. Through your strong analytical skills and data-driven approach, you'll identify potential risks early and drive mitigation strategies to keep the program on track.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Leading end-to-end program delivery while managing complex dependencies across multiple engineering and business teams
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders through clear communication and regular engagement
  3. Creating and maintaining program metrics that drive visibility and enable data-driven decisions
  4. Identifying and removing obstacles to program success through influence and collaborative problem-solving

About the team
You'll be joining a dedicated engineering team within Global Corporate Procurement (GCP) Tech, part of the Finance Automation organization. Our team is focused on a complete overhaul of Amazon's procurement systems – building modern solutions from the ground up to replace existing applications. We're a talented group of software development engineers who combine deep technical expertise with a passion for reimagining enterprise-scale solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
