A leading global tech company in Cambridge is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to lead compliance and certification efforts across device programs. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in technical program management and cross-functional initiatives, driving regulation compliance and ensuring successful product launches. This role offers competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
The Compliance & Certifications team is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager who will serve as a Certifications Lead in a complex, cross-functional compliance environment, responsible for driving certification readiness and execution across global cybersecurity and safety standards. This role is critical to delivering and operationalizing compliance for horizontal standards that impact all device programs, irrespective of market or product family. Unlike product-level certifications, frameworks like the FCC Cyber Trust Mark (NIST IR 8425), and ETSI EN 303 645 and EN 18031 impose systemic requirements across the entire product lifecycle - including architecture, design, SDLC, post-market monitoring, and governance.
The right candidate will serve as the single-threaded execution lead, ensuring technical teams are implementing the appropriate controls, lifecycle documentation, and audit deliverables needed to meet enforcement deadlines and pass third-party reviews.
This role requires a combination of regulatory expertise, technical depth, and program management discipline, enabling Amazon to maintain certification velocity while reducing compliance risk across all device portfolios.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering, security, legal, and product leaders to translate regulatory requirements into real-world design and certification outcomes. Your customers are the device programs across Amazon, and your work ensures products can launch globally on time while meeting the most stringent cybersecurity and safety standards - directly reducing business risk and enabling customer trust.
The team sits within Amazon Devices, driving firmware and security compliance across all product families by operationalizing global cybersecurity and safety regulations. Our mission is to embed trust and resilience into every device we ship, working as a collaborative, solutions-oriented group that bridges technical, legal, and regulatory domains to enable secure, on-time launches worldwide.
