Position Title: Sr System Performance Analyst

Entity: CS e-Storage

Reports To: BESS Data Analytics Manager

Location: UK, Remote

Position Summary:

The role involves analyzing performance data from battery storage systems, focusing on system behavior, performance indicators, and system improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze BESS performance, conduct downtime analysis, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare reports on KPIs like Storage Availability, Charge/Discharge Energy, RTE, SoC.
• Calculate equipment unavailability, communicate with stakeholders.
• Review subcontractors' performance reports and prepare client reports.
• Develop tools and automation scripts (Python, SQL) for data collection and system monitoring.
• Model and simulate battery degradation and aging for warranty and scheduling.
• Maintain and upgrade analytical programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Science or Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of BESS, solar energy, or power systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Jupyter, SQL; AWS knowledge is a plus.
• Strong data analysis skills, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and team-oriented.
