Sr. Solutions Architect, AGS North LATAM GenAI/ML Specialist SA

AWS GenAI/ML Specialist Solutions Architects (SA) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise who work directly with customers to solve their most complex challenges using Generative AI, Traditional AI, and Machine Learning. In this role, we contribute to account planning and architect GenAI and Machine Learning solutions for groundbreaking customer challenges, while running Proof-of-Concepts and exploring innovative solutions. We bring valuable customer data and insights to product teams, continuously enhancing the product roadmap.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including the public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Provide customers with deep technical expertise in Generative AI, Traditional AI, and Machine Learning with AWS services to meet their business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with specialists, sales, marketing, and product teams to ideate around your customers’ most challenging problems.
  3. Act as a trusted advisor to line of business, AI, Data, and C-suite leaders.
  4. Lead architectural reviews and workshops to advance your customer’s technical objectives.
  5. Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events like AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc. Participate as a leader in AWS technical communities.
  6. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  7. Provide data and anecdotes on what is working and what is not, back to the larger specialist community and product teams. Act as the primary point of contact for urgent customer issues in your technical specialty.

- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)

- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures

- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries

- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience

- Experience working with end-user or developer communities

- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

- Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
