Job Description

The Amazon Fuse team creates convenience for our customers by acquiring partner distribution for Amazon Subscriptions (e.g., Prime, Prime Video, Amazon Music Unlimited) and mobile applications (e.g., Shopping, Video, Music, Kindle, Photo-Cloud Drive, Audible) worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with technical, business, and operational expertise to manage partner launch milestones, requirements, and engagement between our mobile partners and various Amazon teams to launch and grow distribution of Amazon Subscription Services and Mobile Applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with internal business and product teams to deliver scalable product solutions globally, possess excellent program and project management skills, and be proficient in translating business requirements into technical solutions. Roadmap prioritization, milestone management, and a strong drive to deliver results are critical. This role involves providing vision and strategy for Fuse partner integrations and launches, partnering with engineering teams to identify improvements for scaling internal services, and working with the Business Development team to meet customers, discover opportunities, and drive growth.

To succeed, you should be a self-directed innovator, an effective communicator capable of influencing teams, and a problem solver. Ability and mindset to work in a global team are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own and manage the technical relationship of multiple partners across various locations and customer journey stages.
2. Identify and drive improvements in Amazon products for assigned partners, acting as a primary stakeholder for requirements and use-cases.
3. Collaborate with sales to design solutions and drive Fuse products.
4. Participate in architectural discussions to ensure customer success.
5. Provide technical consultation to strategic enterprise customers, including API integrations and deployment of Fuse products.
6. Deep dive into Fuse solutions, APIs, cloud architecture, and differentiators with customers and partners.
7. Discuss Fuse integration with customer systems, advising to ensure successful implementation.
8. Coordinate with product and engineering teams on feature requests, scope, and prioritization.
9. Manage the delivery plan, including status reporting and issue resolution.
10. Oversee onboarding activities such as APIs, security roles, and test plans.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT application experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on software development or DevOps engineering.
• 8+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, especially in customer-facing roles.
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Ability to create technical content, best practices, and reference architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of developing technology solutions overseeing complex telecommunications systems and infrastructure.
