The Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Integrations and Developer Experience Team! The team's mission is to enable clients and partners to integrate with Addepar. Our cross-functional team designs, develops, and operates automated workflows between Addepar and third-party systems. We aim to serve a variety of needs from no-code UI options to complex workflows built on our APIs. Take a look at our Integration Center to see some existing integrations!

We're looking for someone who will build an inclusive team culture, empower engineers to succeed, and cultivate high-quality engineering processes and product delivery. You'll work closely with product and design teams to deliver great products.

Our team primarily works with Java, using the Temporal durable execution engine to orchestrate integration workflows. We also work on projects involving Apex (Salesforce language), JavaScript (Ember and LWC frameworks), and Python.

• Collaborate closely with partners from product and design teams to build great products for our clients.
• Drive the technical direction of projects; translating business objectives into scalable solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance for junior developers.
• Promote engineering best practices and principles to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.

Who You Are

• Significant experience as a software engineer using an object-oriented language, preferably Java.
• Experience with modern web development frameworks (Angular, Ember, React, etc.).
• Strong ownership mentality—enjoy taking ideas from inception to production.
• Experience working with stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
