Team and Responsibilities:

The Big Data & Analytics team at Pinterest is responsible for end-to-end big data infrastructure, data warehousing, AB testing framework, and business intelligence solutions that power the rest of the business. The team owns critical data infrastructure, including log ingestion, batch and stream processing, big data query and workflow systems, AB testing experimentation framework, and data processing & ETL pipelines for data warehousing and BI.

What you'll do:

• Build infrastructure platforms or data processing pipelines that support Pinterest's critical business needs.
• Utilize cutting-edge big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, and Presto.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in big data infrastructure, data warehouse engineering, or business intelligence.
• Passion for working with data at hundreds of petabytes scale.
• Solid experience in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Publications at conferences are a plus.
• Experience with big data infrastructure, ETL, reporting, or building A/B testing or machine learning frameworks is a bonus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

In-Office and Relocation Information:

• Role requires in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6 months, anywhere in the country.

Additional Information:

US-based applicants only. Salary range: $149,600 — $308,000 USD. The position is eligible for equity. Final salary depends on location, experience, and skills.
