Job Description:

The Developer role involves working closely within a team of software developers to create high-quality software applications in an Agile environment, staying updated with the latest technological innovations.

Responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the development of tools, services, and platforms.
• Reviewing and improving team practices and workflows.
• Collaborating with other teams to identify improvements or develop new services.
• Gathering and documenting user requirements and developing user stories.
• Planning, coding, testing, and maintaining web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Participating in peer reviews and ensuring quality standards.
• Providing third-level support to business users.
• Adapting to other languages/platforms as needed.
• Mentoring junior team members.

Additional duties may be assigned as required by the line manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential skills include experience with NodeJS/Express, React, MSSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB or CouchDB, GraphQL, Docker, Jira, Git, and working in an Agile Scrum team. Knowledge of Web Services protocols such as REST, HTTPS, Web Sockets, and strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills are also required.
