Full Job Description

As a Senior Technical Consultant with GlideFast Consulting, youwill work to develop, design, and own technical solutions on theServiceNow platform. You will provide administration, applicationdevelopment, maintenance, and technical support by using best-practiceweb programming techniques to configure robust solutions for clients,utilizing the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-qualityconsulting services to install, configure, and integrate softwareproducts from ServiceNow
• Develop custom software solutions asrequired through scripting and software development
• Preparetechnical documentation as specified in customer contracts and asinternally required
• Provide value-based assessments andworkshops to help the customer maximize business results fromServiceNow software
• Write/create custom business rules,client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL’s, data policies, UIscripts
• Troubleshoot basic configuration/script issues
• Attend requirements review and validation sessions asrequired
• Delivermeasurable results within the appropriate timeline resulting inpositive customer feedback
• Perform code review of peers asneeded
• Work independently and actively support otherTechnical Consultants as mentor and team lead
• Lead sessionsin implementation practices

RequiredSkills/Experience:

• 3+ years as a Servicenow developer
• 1+year(s) in a consulting role, delivering softwareimplementations preferable
• 3rd Party Integrations Development(REST, SOAP, MID Servers, or other additional products)
• Working proficiency in the following skills are encouraged:
• Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSONknowledge
• Practical knowledge or experience with OperatingSystems (Linux, Windows)
• Thorough knowledge of networkingconcepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, ports
• Knowledge ofrelational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
• Experience inmultiple application architectures and supporting technologies
• Strong consultative skills with softwareservice delivery to lead customers in improving their processes andorganizational models
• Strong knowledge in ITIL foundationswith the ability to relate concepts to implementation strategies isrequired
• Thorough working knowledge in IT OperationsManagement or IT Service Management is critical

Certifications/Education:

• ServiceNowCertified System Administrator
• ServiceNow CertifiedApplication Developer preferred
