Job description
Overview

Haul is Amazon's new global selling proposition to enable customers to access a larger selection on low-ASP products. Trustworthy Shopping Experience has created a dedicated team of 8 Risk Managers to ensure Haul products meet the highest bar of safety and compliance to earn our Customer's trust and drive authority acceptance of this innovative selling model. This team operates across the end-to-end process, including requirement definition, control setup, seller education, auditing, and remediation. The Haul Control Policy Risk Manager plays a key role in this mission by capturing the requirements for each product type/store and assessing Haul-specific risks not addressed by existing controls. The role requires close collaboration with WW Legal and Policy teams. You will partner with Haul TSE peers to design solutions to mitigate Haul-specific risks and deploy them. You will also work with the CN team to ensure CN partner labs adopt the right standards to test the products worldwide. Finally, you will collaborate with the Central Policy team to identify opportunities to create Global Standards, so Haul Sellers can comply globally with a single test rather than multiple domestic standards across 20+ stores. You will be part of a team that manages complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish and work with internal stakeholders (Legal, Tech, Ops, Business) to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks and communicate/report. We invest in technology to do this at scale and drive programs to ensure compliance with new safety and compliance regulations. We aim to make Customer Trust a competitive advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Clearly communicate goals, responsibilities, issues and status to partner teams and stakeholders.
  • Work across tech, compliance, operations, and business teams to drive cross-functional projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify resources, assemble project teams, and assign responsibilities.
  • Assess costs, benefits and risks; anticipate bottlenecks; identify, track and mitigate issues; manage escalations; anticipate and make trade-offs; balance business needs with technical constraints.
  • Drive effective teamwork, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate local and remote groups with conflicting priorities.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to scale and increase impact.
Qualifications
