This role involves defining test strategies and managing testing processes on Dynamics 365 and Azure systems. Summary
An upcoming Microsoft Partner Software Consultancy firm based out of Borehamwood has a permanent role vacancy for a highly motivated Sr. Quality Assurance Technician on Dynamics 365 and Azure systems.
Experience/skills required
• Experienced with Scrum methodology and Agile project approach
• Working experience with Dynamics 365 CRM Sales and Marketing module
• Must have working experience of Selenium, EasyRepro or similar automated test tools, frameworks and scripts
• Must be having relevant Dynamics 365 certifications;
• Must be able to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience;
• Desirable to having worked with Microsoft Azure infrastructure setup
• Desirable to have worked in DevOps (CI/CD) environment;
• Desirable to have a good overall understanding of a broad range of technology trends and IT Products and Services which integrates with CRM systems.
• Competent in using all other common Office 365 suite software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job responsibilities will include:
• Defining the High-Level Test Approach for Projects, including advising on the test phases needed to support the Projects
• Defining and maintaining the Test Strategy documents & Test Plan documents
• Providing estimates, with a good level of accuracy, of the time required to complete testing activities
• Taking overall responsibility for the creation of test data including the manipulation of relational database data to feed automated test scripts when necessary
• Identifying, documenting, and managing all significant Project Risks and issues regarding testing
• Managing Test progress, including assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing feedback
• Collecting and reporting metrics, progress, and statistics against the test activity
• Working collaboratively with all parties that interface with testing
• Defect Management, including triaging, analysis, and reporting
• Looking for opportunities and value-additions to improve the approach/test process
• Being an advocate for Testing and Quality across the lifecycle including a focus on defect prevention
• Overseeing Non-Functional testing including Performance as required by the project
• Championing knowledge sharing and collaboration across the business and the clients
• Internal and external Key Stakeholder management providing regular updates to clients, Account Managers and Leadership team
