Our Professional Services teams are on the front line of helping customers succeed using AWS technologies that align with the new ways of managing people and rearchitecting critical processes to complement the new cloud paradigm.
AWS Professional Services team members leverage their deep knowledge of AWS technologies in collaboration with our sales and partner teams to propose, architect, and implement transformational solutions for customers. Helping make customer success a reality using AWS cloud as an enabler and seeing the impact in real-time drives our teams to explore new frontiers in leveraging AWS for our customers.
The Senior Proserve Cloud Architect (PCA) is a new growth role within the Professional Services organization, and is principally oriented around a qualify-deliver-manage model. The PCA is responsible for partnering with a Proserve Account Executive (PAE) to dive deep into a customer’s business challenge and collaboratively propose and pre-qualify a particular set of outcomes that would result from a formal Professional Services engagement. Thereafter, the PCA remains meaningfully engaged with that customer, Amazon team and project/program to ensure high-value, predictable, and successful delivery.
It is a senior individual contributor role with a strong technical expertise and unique hybrid of AWS platform expertise and customer-facing, coupled with cross-industry business acumen, including a heavy dose of passion for continued knowledge acquisition and growth, obsession for customers, and their success using AWS that will align well with the desired outcomes to be produced.
A day in the life
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are helping large enterprises build ML and DL models on the AWS Cloud. We are applying predictive technology to large volumes of data and against a wide spectrum of problems. Our Professional Services organization works together with our AWS customers to address their business needs using AI.
This is a customer facing role. You be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.
- 10+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
- Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system
- 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
- Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management
- Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture
- Experience in consulting/service sales, business development and technical Pre-sales experience
- Technical expertise of Infrastructure, Application Modernization, Cloud Migration or database, Analytics, AIML/GenAI proposal to the customers
