Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee all Project Management aspects from start to finish.
  2. Lead Risk Assessment activities and manage Risk Management.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Office to develop the Project Business Case.
  4. Define necessary requirements for product development.
  5. Report project status and ensure progress aligns with the plan.
  6. Escalate issues as needed and manage project change controls.
  7. Coordinate with global teams in engineering and manufacturing within a regulated environment.
  8. Manage and be accountable for project budgets, ensuring timely procurement of goods.
  9. Maintain global liaisons with customers and suppliers.

What your background should look like:

  1. 3+ years' leadership experience in regulated project environments.
  2. Proven success in delivering customer-facing product development projects.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
  4. Ability to take ownership and drive decisions independently.
  5. Strategic thinker capable of executing priorities effectively.
  6. Self-motivated and results-driven in demanding environments.
  7. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at all levels.

  10. Experience in Agile Project Management preferred, familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
