SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER – CPU Cores
THE ROLE:

AMD’s Cores Organization designs industry-leading CPUs and caches that provide the foundation for AMD’s server, client, and gaming products. Our experienced and highly collaborative engineering teams develop the next generation of CPU cores, turning AMD’s ambitious technology roadmap into innovative, high-performance silicon.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in technical program management and a strong track record of delivering complex silicon or hardware programs. They will be comfortable collaborating across global, cross-functional teams, navigating changing priorities, and communicating effectively with both engineering teams and senior leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead execution planning and delivery of strategic, long-lead IP initiatives from conception through development
  • Manage cross-program resource and scheduling models across multiple product streams
  • Align IP component schedules with peer IP Program Managers and SoC milestones
  • Support leadership with data-driven insights to inform prioritization, scoping, and risk management
  • Facilitate execution trade-offs, risk mitigation, and resolution of late discoveries or scope adjustments
  • Coordinate communication between leadership and engineering teams and facilitate recurring execution discussions
