Job Description

The Lending Squad manages the lifecycle of loans from simulation to completion, focusing on total debt amount handling. They deliver value to Financial Institution backoffices, IT areas, and Credit officers by automating and reducing the time to create and maintain various loan products and loans using APIs and Events.

The main responsibilities include:

  1. Mapping, evaluating, and recording requirements to deliver value for the Lending Platform's target customers.
  2. Building quarterly milestones for the product roadmap and ensuring timely delivery.
  3. Creating artifacts (User Stories, Journeys, Workflows, One Pagers, Presentations, Spreadsheets) that translate requirements.
  4. Maintaining the product backlog and roadmap, prioritizing demands from market, business, and internal sources to optimize value delivery.
  5. Participating in testing and validating new features for the lending product.
  6. Communicating and aligning with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Collaborating with various teams including Pre Sales, Solutions Architecture, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
  8. Exercising self-directed leadership within the squad.
  9. Serving as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding the Lending platform's capabilities.
  10. Monitoring the lending business environment and providing input for new feature development.

This is a remote position, which may require presence at a Visa office with prior notice.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Lending Product domain.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, familiar with Dual Track, Kanban, Jira, Miro, and similar tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and teach.
  • Experience collaborating closely with technology teams and stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of APIs, Postman, and AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with functional testing.
  • Experience in Market Research and Benchmarking.
  • MBA or Master’s in Finance.
