As a Senior Principal Software Engineer - AI Advocacy Lead within CDAO Data Platforms Engineering, you will champion AI tooling across our engineering organization, demonstrating how it can support and accelerate development. Your deep technical expertise and passion for technology will enable you to effectively communicate these cutting-edge concepts to engineers across the organization. You will ensure feedback is integrated into the AI solutions that our engineering teams use. Your exceptional communication skills will facilitate the creation of training content so that the engineer community can fully embrace these new ways of working.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead technical advocacy for using AI to support and accelerate development across CDAO Data Platforms Engineering
  • Develop training approaches for our engineering organization to use AI solutions, clearly explaining how they should be used effectively
  • Foster collaboration between teams to showcase how AI solutions can support development at an accelerated pace with high quality
  • Track and report on how AI solutions are being used within the engineering function
  • Partner with product organizations for AI tools to integrate feedback from the CDAO Data Platforms Engineering team
  • Influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams
  • Champion the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification in Software Engineering concepts and proficient expert experience
  • Significant years of director-level experience, leading enterprise-wide transformation
  • Ability to engage and influence engineers at different levels of the organization
  • Proven proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
  • Expertise in AWS technologies and cloud infrastructure, with experience in Kubernetes and other cloud platforms
  • Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to business, technical, and operational objectives
  • Proven ability to lead through change, manage dependencies, and control change in high-pressure, shifting environments
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills, establishing productive relationships and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
