Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Power Platform Functional Consultant for a Manchester-based hybrid contract (Inside IR35). You will lead design and delivery of enterprise Power Platform solutions, gathering requirements and shaping designs to drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities include running workshops, producing user stories and specifications, guiding Agile delivery, and mentoring teams on governance and ALM. Strong stakeholder management is essential.

Role: Senior Power Platform Functional Consultant
Type: Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Duration: 3-6 months (Likely Extension)
Clearance: BPSS Eiligible

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Power Platform Functional Consultant to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Microsoft Power Platform solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, shape solution designs, and drive digital transformation through low-code technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder engagement.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Design solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.
• Produce user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Support Agile delivery teams throughout development and UAT.
• Advise on governance, security, licensing, and Power Platform best practices.
• Mentor consultants and developers while promoting adoption and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions.
• Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills.
• Dataverse data modelling, security, and governance experience.
• API integrations, custom connectors, and enterprise system integrations.
• Knowledge of Power Platform CoE, Managed Environments, DLP policies, and ALM.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Desirable

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-200, PL-600).
• Public sector or large-scale transformation programme experience.
