Sr. Ops Associate , Business & Operations Excellence (BOX)

We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and analytical candidate with strong problem-solving skills to simplify processes and execute operational and supply chain excellence within Amazon India’s marketplace business.

The Sr. Ops Associate supports the team working with sellers to enhance their success on Amazon by building and nurturing operational partnerships. The role involves creating engaging experiences for seller partners through timely issue resolution, identifying improvement opportunities in supply chains, developing solutions, and proactively addressing potential issues.

This position requires self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and multitasking skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with sellers, Amazon Operations, and Planning and Operations Managers to resolve day-to-day inbound operational challenges.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Ensure seller/vendor operational performance aligns with targets.
  2. Identify and communicate the strategic importance of metrics to manage trade-offs, improve customer experience, and support decision-making with stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with vendor operations teams to reduce costs, lead times, and waste across the supply chain.
  4. Define, prioritize, and monitor programs/projects to ensure timely delivery of targets.
  5. Create and review business cases, conduct research and analysis, write specifications, and manage product development from strategy to execution.
  6. Analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL, or other data systems.
  7. Monitor project execution to ensure quality and adherence to timelines, maintaining overall program integrity.
About the team

The Operations Excellence Team aims to guide and support sellers to ensure a seamless experience with Amazon systems. The team provides support to improve seller capabilities, familiarize them with Amazon tools, and offer on-ground support for processes like Vendor Returns and Disputes. Responsibilities include training new sellers, assisting with Returns Order Creation and Planning, coordinating with sellers, correcting errors, and maintaining records. The role also involves initiating process improvement projects and participating in stakeholder meetings.
