Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. As an innovative company offering a wide array of products, we strive to continuously develop new technology and drive process improvement.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager who will lead, direct, and coordinate the activities of our manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety standards while aligning with the company’s strategic goals.

  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CNC MACHINING MANUFACTURING

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that improve productivity and efficiency across all production lines.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure that production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to optimize processes and resolve production issues.
  • Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, resource allocation, and capital expenditures for manufacturing operations.
  • Act as a point of contact for senior leadership, providing insights and updates on operational performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in machining manufacturing operations management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills.
