Job summary

Qualifications

Job Overview The Sr. Manager, Site Security is responsible for leading site‑level security strategy and operations to protect employees, assets, information, and facilities at DePuy Synthes. This role provides strategic and operational oversight of physical security programs, emergency response readiness, and risk mitigation efforts. The position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and secure work environment while aligning site security practices with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage site security programs, ensuring effective protection of people, property, and assets.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site‑specific security plans aligned with enterprise security standards.
  • Oversee physical security systems, access controls, and monitoring programs.
  • Manage security vendors and service providers, including contracts, performance, and cost controls.

Qualifications
  • Education Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, or a related field required
  • Advanced degree or relevant professional training preferred
  • Experience and Skills Required: 8–10 years of progressive experience in security, risk management, or protective services roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading site‑level or regional security programs.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security systems, access controls, and incident management practices.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors and third‑party security providers.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional collaboration in a regulated or matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, R&D, or corporate campus environments. Experience supporting crisis management or emergency response programs. Familiarity with global security standards and best practices. Experience working within a global or highly regulated organization.
