What the Role Entails

• Partner with Finance Stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for AP, FA, and GL processes
• Lead fit-gap analysis and work with technical teams to configure solutions in Workday Finance
• Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle including design, testing (Unit testing and UAT), Training, and post-go-live support
• Act as a domain expert in Workday Financial system, supporting the implementation of Financial Management, Procurement, Banking & Settlement, or Expense Management functional areas
• Comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as holistic interchange services, ensuring effective data quality and reliable exchanges of digital information
• Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across HR, Finance, and other areas, requiring in-depth analysis of variables
• Design, develop, and maintain custom reports in Workday using various report types to support system integration
• Understand Security Configuration and Business Process setup in the tenant
• Create and maintain documentation for new and existing integrations
• Perform full system regression testing for Workday updates to ensure security access and integrations function as expected
• Understand business needs, troubleshoot issues, diagnose root causes, and propose solutions
• Analyze, design, document, and test system configurations to align with existing processes and reports in production
• Collaborate with business partners to understand processes, goals, and gaps
• Provide solution options with pros and cons, along with recommendations
• Conduct IT unit testing, support business UAT testing, manage the UAT lifecycle, build test cases, troubleshoot, and re-test
• Participate in change management and go-live support processes

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Workday AP, Bank Settlement, P-card, Fixed Assets, and GL modules
• Proficiency in Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIBs, Report Writer (BIRT), Core Connectors, and PECI
• Experience with Workday report writing tools: Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports
• Knowledge of Workday Security policies (data security and business process security)
• Familiarity with Workday Extend Graph API
• Experience with EDI, XML, XSLT, Web services, SOAP, REST, JSON, Javascript, or other integration technologies
• Understanding of agile methodologies, processes, and change management tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in both leading and supporting roles
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams across different time zones
• Experience with Workday HCM or Payroll is a plus
