Sr. In-Region Technical Program Manager, Asia Development Center

As a Hardware Sr. In-region Technical Program Manager (Sr In-region TPM), you will engage with an experienced inter-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, testing, and delivery. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, collaborative peer environment.

The Hardware Technical Program Manager will lead internal inter-disciplinary teams through the product execution phase. The candidate will collaborate with overseas teams to create project plans, including schedules. You will work with the Product Manager to derive product requirements and obtain executive approval. The role involves driving and motivating cross-functional teams to deliver products as per requirements and managing internal team members.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Coordination and planning of engineering builds at suppliers
  2. Driving configuration management to ensure timely release of assemblies to production
  3. Leading project execution, milestone reviews, and project meetings
  4. Presenting project status to executive teams
  5. Managing multiple programs simultaneously
  6. Traveling domestically and internationally as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 12+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating schedules
  • 8+ years of technical program management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience delivering high-volume products through EMS
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Proficiency in creating and tracking complex development schedules, managing issues, and bugs
  • Experience with new technology integration
  • Understanding of product development processes and technical requirements
  • Experience leading global engineering teams
  • PMP certification
