Job Description:

This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Charlotte Technical Center in Concord, NC three times per week, at minimum.

The Role:

The General Motors Human Resources Group seeks a highly motivated individual to support teams within Global Engineering. Located in Concord, North Carolina, this role involves leading HR functions, collaborating with business leaders, and supporting strategic workforce planning.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and executing change management and organizational development activities
  • Collaborating with HR leaders to define talent management strategies
  • Partnering with field representatives for HR functional work
  • Providing guidance on restructures, transformation efforts, job design, and planning
  • Ensuring high-quality HR service delivery and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, with 5+ years' HR experience
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Ability to travel (up to 5%)

Skills include stakeholder engagement, negotiation, problem-solving, performance management, talent development, relationship management, interviewing, and coaching.
