Job Description:

This role is categorized as hybrid, requiring the successful candidate to report to the Charlotte Technical Center in Concord, NC three times per week.

The General Motors Human Resources Group is seeking a motivated individual to support teams within Global Engineering, located in Concord, North Carolina. You will lead HR functions, collaborate with business leaders, and support organizational development, talent management, and HR transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Build and execute change management and organizational development activities.
  2. Work with executives to define talent strategies.
  3. Partner with field representatives for HR support.
  4. Advise on restructures, transformations, job design, and workforce planning.
  5. Ensure high-quality HR service delivery and compliance.
  6. Communicate HR policies and changes to leaders and employees.
  7. Identify training and leadership development needs.
  8. Contribute to HR transformation as a change agent.
  9. Develop innovative HR solutions based on industry trends.
  10. Analyze HR metrics to address issues and develop policies.
  11. Ensure legal compliance in employee management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in an HR support role.
