Description

  • Location: AMZL Corporate Office across EU is suitable for this position

We are looking for a Sr Fleet Improvement Specialist/Program Manager within our Fleet Strategic In-Life Partnerships and Programs Team. This role involves creating, piloting, rolling out, and expanding fleet programs, interfacing with external vendors such as OEMs, dealerships, fleet suppliers, and management companies. Responsibilities include supporting delivery service providers with maintenance and repairs, and developing innovative solutions to improve vehicle uptime.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, forward-thinking, and capable of navigating challenges to develop and implement best-in-class solutions. They should be customer-focused, analytical, resourceful, and comfortable operating at all organizational levels to drive critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities
  • Program ownership of a portfolio of services
  • Business development and vendor negotiations
  • EU-wide rollout and continuous improvement of services
  • Engagement with internal teams and external stakeholders
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Creating project plans for service deployment
  • Identifying business needs and improving service offerings
  • Conducting tendering and negotiations with suppliers
  • Developing mechanisms for ongoing service evaluation and evolution
  • Managing relationships with service delivery suppliers
  • Driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring goal achievement
  • Updating senior leadership on project status and metrics
Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in project management, automotive industry, fleet management, service, maintenance, and repair is a plus
  • Experience with Delivery Stations and/or Delivery Service Partners is a plus
  • Ability to travel >25%
Preferred qualifications
  • Project Management Certification
  • Data analytics skills
  • Experience managing third-party vendors
