We are looking for a Sr Fleet Improvement Specialist/Program Manager, within our Fleet Strategic In-Life Partnerships and Programs Team. The Sr Fleet Improvement Specialist/Program Manager will be responsible for creating, piloting, rolling out and expanding fleet programs. Some of these programs will interface with external vendors, including OEMs, OEM dealerships, Fleet suppliers and Fleet Management Companies. Fleet services include the provision of maintenance and repairs to support Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) who are the customers of these services. Further innovative solutions that improve the uptime of our vehicles will be researched, developed and deployed by this individual.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, forward-thinking, and capable of diving into challenges to develop best-in-class solutions. They should be customer-focused, highly analytical, resourceful, and able to operate at all organizational levels, making critical business decisions in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities
  • Program ownership of a portfolio of services
  • Business development and vendor negotiations
  • Leverage EU-wide rollout of services and their continuous improvement
  • Engagement with internal (international) and external stakeholders
Additional responsibilities include
  • Create and own project plans for service deployment
  • Identify business needs and develop solutions for continuous improvement
  • Conduct tendering & negotiation with suppliers
  • Build mechanisms for ongoing service evaluation and evolution based on customer feedback
  • Own relationships with service delivery suppliers
  • Drive cross-functional alignment among business units, service providers, internal teams, and senior leadership
  • Regularly update EU senior leadership on project status and key metrics
Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical) from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience; automotive industry and fleet management experience a plus
  • Experience with Delivery Station and/or Delivery Service Partners is a plus
  • Ability to travel >25%
Preferred qualifications
  • Project Management Certification
  • Data analytics skills
  • Experience managing third-party vendors
