Job description

Amazon is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join the fast paced world of Payroll operations.
We are not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average payroll position reporting in through Amazon Finance Operations. We’ll give you the opportunity to really make a difference to our business.
We’re looking for exceptional people with outstanding auditing skills, problem solving skills, payroll process combined with payroll system knowledge, and customer service passion.

Amazon seeks a resource who will support Indonesia Payroll with at least two years payroll and/or accounting experience in a large customer-oriented corporate environment. Payroll is processed on a monthly basis in multiple states, and this person will perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility including data compilation and support of the Payroll Team.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Process end to end Indonesia/other countries payroll.
  2. Perform/review various analysis and reconciliation.
  3. Prepare various reports (monthly, quarterly and annual).
  4. Process and pay statutory deductions on time to statutory authorities.
  5. Process new hires, terminations and other additional inputs from Upstream.
  6. Audit payroll registers shared by vendor and share observations if any.
  7. Finalize payroll before agreed timelines and pay employees on time.
  8. Record relocation transactions, third party sick pay and processing of year end.
  9. Prepare and process year-end tax calculation.
  10. Provide reporting to management on issues, projects and process updates.
  11. Monitor deliverables and identify improvement within the area.
  12. Contribute with adhoc requests and team projects as needed.
  13. Produce timely responses to employee inquiries.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree preferably Finance background
2+ years of payroll administration experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Flexible to work in shifts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in Philippine or Indonesia payroll
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong experience with customer service
Detail oriented
Strong problem solving and review skills
Experience with administrative support that includes filing and opening mail
