Amazon is looking for a driven Sr. FinOps Analyst to become a key contributor in the fast-paced world of Global Accounts Payable.

About the role

The successful candidate will be part of the Global Finance Operations team, responsible for vendor experience and complex dispute management.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying root causes of issues within the supply chain or internal Amazon systems and leading initiatives to resolve them; conducting follow-up tasks, communicating improvement opportunities, and establishing action plans.
  2. Analyzing key supplier trends and governing mediation requirements based on these trends.
  3. Serving as the primary contact for top Amazon suppliers to develop strong business relationships, build mutual trust, and resolve conflicts to prevent shipment holds or other disruptions.
  4. Preparing vendor health scorecards, reviewing accounts, and proactively addressing potential delivery hold situations.
  5. Handling vendor inquiries and ensuring they are familiar with Amazon tools.
  6. Analyzing operational performance metrics and presenting data effectively to vendors and internal teams.
  7. Working independently with attention to detail, quickly identifying and resolving variances, failures, and discrepancies.
  8. Collaborating with Retail & Finance teams on vendor accounts to align priorities and decisions.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce (B. Com).

  • Over 5 years of experience in finance operations or related fields.
