We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This position is full-time, permanent and is based out of our London Office with a hybrid working schedule.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Prepare and maintain store/retail counter P&L reports by store, region, store type, and new/competitor doors.
  • Develop P&L scenario analysis for new freestanding store opportunities to evaluate gross profit and NOP.
  • Collaborate with the OPEX team to ensure operating expenses are reported accurately.
  • Review financial results/P&L with the Director and Regional Heads quarterly (TY/LY/PL/LE).
  • Analyze business performance by identifying trends and evaluating metrics/KPIs to provide insights to the FSS Retail team.
  • Prepare budget Store/Counter P&L’s by store, region, store type, and new/competitor doors.
  • Plan FTE counts and personnel costs by role, region, phased by month/quarter.
  • Validate forecasts and resolve issues by working closely with the FSS/Retail Counters team.
  • Conduct variance analysis of forecasts versus actuals and budgets.
  • Reconcile OPEX to ensure spend is accurately coded (cost center, GL).

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst within an FP&A environment.
  • Experience in a DTC environment is essential; CPG/Retail experience is preferred.
  • Strong experience with end-to-end accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Relevant education in Finance & Accounting (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or equivalent work experience.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
