The Role

Seeking a senior network engineer to work on complex global networking requirements for their largest client. The role involves designing and implementing scalable, resilient network infrastructures, and supporting/maintaining global networks, with a focus on routing protocols, advanced switching, data center and cloud networking, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise routing and switching solutions.
• Architect and troubleshoot scalable networks, ensuring fault tolerance and performance.
• Configure routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Implement VLANs, VTP, EtherChannel, STP.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls and security policies.
• Resolve complex network and security issues.
• Consult with clients and develop documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Must Have

• 5+ years in enterprise network architecture design and implementation.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VTP, MPLS, VPNs.
• Experience with data center networking (Nexus), Cisco UCS, and firewalls (ASA).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Hybrid onsite/remote work.
• Certifications: CCNP or CCIE.
• Authorized to work in the US.
