The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
2. Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
3. Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions, and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
4. Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes.
5. Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
6. Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards.

Qualifications include:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in managing and delivering enterprise IT projects, with external customers or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/customers.
• Experience leading teams utilizing agile approaches, Scrum, and related frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud services and experience delivering cloud engagements.
• Experience with Agile and Project Management tools like Jira, RallyDev, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2).
• Managed large-scale technical projects with budgets over $1,000,000 and teams of 8 or more.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives and technical subject matter experts.
