Job description

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Senior Electrical Engineer position in Manchester, NH. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary R&D team to design and develop innovative embedded circuit board solutions for state-of-the-art medical devices. Responsibilities include schematic design, PCB layout oversight, debugging, and system integration—taking electrical designs from concept through to production.

Senior Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mixed-signal circuit boards, manage schematic creation, and oversee PCB layout and design reviews.
• Perform hands-on testing, failure analysis, and develop test fixtures for product and production validation.
• Create detailed electrical documentation including diagrams, design descriptions, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, controls, and systems engineers for full-system integration.
• Manage external design partners and support rapid development cycles across multiple projects.

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Five or more years of experience in developing complex electro-mechanical devices.
• Hands-on experience designing schematics and PCBs (Altium preferred).
• Proficient with electrical test equipment and simulation tools.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ and familiarity with standards such as IEC 60601-1 or ISO 13485 is a plus.
• Knowledge of RF design, sensor development, or analytical software (MATLAB, Python, LabView) is desirable.
