ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing production Oracle and Microsoft SQL database systems
System Monitoring and reporting
Transforming data between systems
Monitoring, improving, and maintaining our RPO / RTO objectives
Being proactive to ensure all databases are operating at peak performance
Provide on-call support when required
Supporting other Oracle DBAs within the group of companies
POSITION REQUIREMENTSExperience:
- Minimum of 5 years managing Oracle Enterprise Database 19c.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Oracle Datapump (export/import).
- Proficiency in performance tuning and scripting for Oracle (primary) and Microsoft SQL (secondary).
- Hands-on experience managing high-availability and replicated data systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle patching, RMAN backup management, and Data Guard.
- Extensive experience in PL/SQL development, including stored procedures and functions.
- Deep understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and Bash scripting.
