Job summary

Blackhawk Network is seeking a Sr Credit Operations Analyst to monitor real-time customer sales activity and credit exposure. You will manage velocity limits within the RMS, collaborate with Credit Management, Accounts Receivable and Sales, and perform in-depth credit analysis using financial data and third-party reports.

You will design dashboards to provide visibility into key credit indicators and communicate recommendations clearly across teams. Background check required.

Qualifications

• BA in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Ability to work under pressure and with multiple teams in a high-visibility environment.
• Experience with compiling and analyzing large data sets across multiple sources under pressure; general understanding of databases.
• Proficient in Excel and dashboards; understanding of databases.
• Experience with financial statements and financial ratio analysis.
• Experience in accounts receivable, credit, accounting, financial analysis, and third-party credit data providers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily and intra-day sales volumes across customers, identifying unusual trends or activity that may indicate fraud or risk.
• Support velocity limit management for customers within the RMS, responding to threshold alerts promptly.
• Coordinate with Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, and Sales to update alert and block rules.
• Maintain regular communication with Sales regarding partner activity, credit standing, and risks.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to identify and follow up on outstanding amounts.
• Ensure velocity limits are established for new customers in RMS prior to activation; flag gaps.
• Assist with audits of customer contracts for financial security language and compliance with terms.
• Design and maintain reports and dashboards to track credit performance indicators.
• Perform analysis of customer financial statements for credit recommendations.
• Interpret trade data from reports (D&B, CRM, Experian) to inform credit decisions.
• Communicate credit decisions with Credit Management and Sales.

Reporting to Credit Manager

The Sr Credit Operations Analyst is responsible for real-time monitoring of customer sales activity and credit exposure, ensuring effective use of velocity and risk controls to proactively identify and mitigate potential financial risk or fraud. This role partners closely with Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, and Sales to respond to alerts, manage velocity limits within the Risk Management System, and maintain clear communication on partner credit standing and risk issues. The Sr Analyst also performs in-depth credit analysis using financial statements and third-party trade data, and designs and maintains reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into key credit performance indicators across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily and intra-day sales volumes across customers, identifying unusual trends, anomalies, or activity that may indicate fraud or elevated financial risk.


• Support the creation, maintenance, and dynamic adjustment of velocity limits for customers within the Risk Management System (RMS), responding to threshold alerts in a timely manner.


• Respond to velocity limit alerts; coordinate with the Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, and Sales to update alert and block rules as required to mitigate partner exposure in timely manner.


• Maintain regular communication with Sales regarding partner activity, credit standing, and any identified risk or anomaly requiring attention.


• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable (A/R) to efficiently identify and follow up on outstanding amounts associated with customers.


• Ensure all newly onboarded customers have velocity limits (where appropriate) established in RMS prior to activation; flag any gaps to the Credit Management.


• Assist with periodic audits of customer contracts for financial security language and partner compliance with agreed credit terms.


• Design and maintain reports and dashboards compiling data across multiple platforms/sources to both track and communicate key Credit performance indicators.


• Perform analysis of customer financial statements or other data for existing customers and potential customers with the ability to make credit recommendations based on those findings.


• Interpret trade data from several trade reports (D&B, CRM, Experian) and be able to make credit recommendations based on data.


• Regular interaction with and communication of credit decisions in both written and verbal form with Credit Management and sales.


• Foster and maintain key relationships throughout the organization to facilitate teamwork and results.
