AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Content Strategist to lead overarching content strategy across customer journeys, guiding creators with a strategic vision. You will align messaging, audience needs, and business goals while ensuring voice consistency and engagement across blogs, infographics, videos, and more.
Responsibilities include audits, lifecycle calendars, and performance analysis to continuously improve content.
The Content Strategist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that guide customers through a cohesive AWS narrative across every touchpoint of their journey. This role will use our standardized messaging hierarchy to ensure strategic alignment between messaging, audience needs, and business objectives while maintaining consistency in brand voice and customer experience. While the Content Strategist does not own creation of the messaging within the content, they do drive the strategic vision that informs content creators on how best to deliver consistent, personalized, content experiences that educate, engage, and empower customers to make informed decisions.
With a focus on audience engagement and driving consistent storytelling and messaging, the Content Strategist's key responsibilities include conducting audience and content audits, creating content strategies and lifecycle calendars, overseeing content creation (though not necessarily producing it), and analyzing content performance metrics to inform continuous improvement. The role involves collaborating with Content Studio, Digital Strategy, Campaign teams, and subject matter experts to deliver compelling, high-quality content across various platforms and formats while ensuring strategic direction and messaging is consistently executed with each content piece- whether blogs, infographics, or videos, etc. -to strengthen brand voice and tell a cohesive narrative to all decision makers and influencers in the buying process. Additionally, the Content Strategist partners with the Channels team, Digital Strategists, and Content Studio to determine optimal content formats that maximize customer engagement based on persona, customer journey stage, and content placement.
The Content Strategy team is part of the Customer Experience organization within the Integrated Demand Center. We partner closely with the Digital Strategy team to design and deliver engaging customer experiences throughout the buyer's journey as customers explore AWS solutions to address their business challenges—from AI and data analytics to migration and beyond.
Our team embeds Content Strategists across all Integrated Demand Programs (IDPs) and event workstreams to ensure the right content reaches the right audience at the optimal stage of their journey, creating meaningful touchpoints that guide customers toward solutions that meet their needs.
