BY Position Title: Sr Business Strategist

Location: Virtual within the US

Overview

Part of the North America Strategic Transformation team for Manufacturing, this role will focus on Manufacturing Planning and Change Management, enhancing, supporting, and promoting BY's leadership position regarding processes and solutions within the Manufacturing sector. The role will bring value to BY's customers by defining future state processes, ensuring alignment with customer processes, people, and BY technology, supported by change management.

What you'll do

  1. Act as an industry expert with deep domain knowledge in Manufacturing, especially supply chain planning, guiding clients towards improved processes to drive profit, resource effectiveness, and process efficiency.
  2. Use facilitation skills to lead clients to solutions and opportunities in business process, resource use, and BY technology.
  3. Stay updated on industry best practices and operate as a thought leader in supply chain processes.
  4. Assist in driving software and services sales by demonstrating value and proposing roadmaps for success.
  5. Collaborate with Principal and Senior Enterprise Architects on Transformation 'Blueprints', leading the blueprint phase in projects.
  6. Maintain relationships with sales, management, consulting, customer support, and product management for proposal presentations.
  7. Prepare and deliver presentations for industry conferences and forums.
  8. Serve as a trusted advisor on complex manufacturing transformation programs.
  9. Lead a proactive, cross-functional culture within BY Customer Success and Delivery teams.

What we are looking for

  • 10+ years of experience as a supply chain consultant or practitioner, providing consulting and change management for customers.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills.
  • Practical experience leading teams within tier 1 manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience across multiple industry verticals is desirable.
  • Experience deploying supply chain solutions in Tier 1 manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing End-to-End Supply Chain, focusing on S&OP.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into operational processes using BY's framework.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing verticals like CPG, Hi-tech, Automotive.
  • Understanding industry trends and products.
  • Comfort navigating complex projects and working with C-Level executives.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and develop new consulting opportunities.
  • Previous experience in process or solution consulting, either in consulting firms, software vendors, or corporate strategy.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven business process modeling and design skills.
  • Professional demeanor, collaborative, independent, goal-oriented, and proactive.
  • Well organized, reliable in meeting commitments and deadlines.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000.

This range reflects current national data; actual salary may vary based on location, skills, experience, and other factors. The role may also include participation in performance bonus or commissions.
