Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: UK - Hybrid working from London, Milton Keynes, Leeds, or Newcastle

Department: AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owner) Software Solutions

Are you seeking a career-defining role where you can leverage your skills to influence Business Intelligence improvements? Join us as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to drive impactful insights and shape strategic decisions.

This is a new role within our global BI team, working closely with EMEA sales teams and analysts, reporting to our US-based Sales Intelligence Director. You will lead data analysis initiatives, build strong stakeholder relationships, and utilize relational databases, SQL, and BI tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Domo, and Power BI to generate insights across the EMEA region.

You will collaborate with Sales Leaders to influence market strategies, regional margins, and business improvements, impacting both regional and global levels.

Due to your reporting line, occasional outside of regular hours work may be required for collaboration with the global team. Ideally, you will be located within commuting distance of one of Trimble’s UK offices: London, Milton Keynes, Leeds, or Newcastle, with an expectation to work two to three days in the office weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop analytical solutions.
  2. Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards for complex data analysis and visualization.
  3. Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends and insights supporting strategic initiatives.
  4. Monitor data quality and integrity to ensure accurate reporting.
  5. Create and present data findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  6. Work with stakeholders to understand needs and provide data-driven insights.
  7. Identify process improvements and data optimizations, assisting with implementation.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  9. Mentor junior analysts and promote a data-driven culture.
  10. Support process improvement initiatives within the AECO organization.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Experience as a Data or Business Analyst, with stakeholder management skills.
  3. Experience in sales or marketing analytics.
  4. Proficiency with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  5. Strong SQL skills and knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
