Join Our Team

You will be our Senior Business Analyst, Pricing & Exposure, responsible for driving innovation, standardization, and efficiency within our insurance systems.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be solution-driven, and possess the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This individual will be an integral part of the Insurance Portfolio team, committed to excellence and supporting an environment of continuous improvement. The role reports to the Pricing & Exposure Product Leader.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Analyze and document business processes and workflows, and identify areas for system improvement.
  2. Elicit and define requirements for new features, enhancements, and system integrations.
  3. Act as the subject matter expert for insurance systems, providing guidance and recommended best practices.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed business process models, use cases, functional specifications, and other required deliverables as part of the Project Management and SDLC process.
  5. Manage user story development, documenting requirements and success criteria clearly.
  6. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and user sessions to gather detailed requirements and feedback.
  7. Conduct gap analyses and propose solutions to bridge business needs with IT capabilities.
  8. Work with QA teams to develop test cases and validate system performance.
  9. Provide expert-level training and support for insurance applications, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.
  10. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application support processes and procedures.
  11. Work with the Product Leader to execute product strategies aligning with the company's vision and goals.
  12. Assist the Product Leader with overseeing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring products meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
  13. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on solution design.
  14. Stay current with industry trends and best practices, applying them to enhance IT solutions.

Your Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in business analysis, systems development, and business process management, ideally in insurance or financial services
  • Proven track record in process improvements and transformation initiatives
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information effectively
  • Motivated, innovative, team-oriented with problem-solving and project management skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities in business process management
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Service-oriented mindset across organizational levels
  • Familiarity with analysis tools (e.g., BPMN, UML, Miro)
  • Experience with Guidewire is preferred
