Job Responsibilities

Major tasks:

  • Collaborate with other functions to plan, execute, and analyze all biomarker aspects (including genomics) of clinical studies or biomarker studies, acting as the biomarker statistician under guidance.
  • Develop the Biomarker Evaluation Plan for the study, ensuring consistency across projects.
  • Provide statistical input in clinical development discussions, including the use of AI and ML approaches.
  • Organize and coordinate statistical activities related to biomarker research and development.
  • Conduct and design advanced data analyses for genomics and biomarker statistics, including programming and designing complex analysis algorithms.
  • Handle RNA, Olink, and other biomarker data.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the Biomarker Evaluation Report regarding statistical deliverables and interpretation.
  • Work independently on routine and complex statistical questions and tasks.
  • Develop and implement standard processes for routine biomarker assessments.

Qualifications

  • PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with AI and ML approaches.
  • Mandatory experience leading biomarker studies independently.
  • Previous clinical trial industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of biomarker evaluation, especially in immunology, infections, and type I diabetes.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages including R (Bioconductor and other relevant packages) and Python.
  • Experience with high-dimensional data analysis.
