Job summary

Evi Technologies Limited in Manchester is seeking a Senior ASIC Design Engineer to shape the silicon that powers Blink and Ring products. You will lead architecture and RTL development for low-power, high-performance SoCs used in millions of homes.

Collaborate across verification, design, and production teams to ensure timely delivery and robust validation, from bench to production, with a focus on time-to-market and product impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE with RTL experience and low-power design knowledge.
• Experience in RTL coding, debug, performance, power, area analysis, and trade-offs.
• Experience delivering products to volume production.

Responsibilities

• Architect the future: define architecture specs translating vision into reality.
• Lead and mentor: create microarchitecture specs and guide junior engineers.
• Drive quality: own RTL delivery through synthesis, power analysis, and timing closure.
• Collaborate across teams: work with verification and validation from testplan to production.
• Innovate: evaluate IP blocks and drive early architectural trade-offs.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Experience in RTL coding and debug, as well as performance, power, area analysis and trade‑offs
• Experience developing products for volume production
• Experience delivering products to volume production
• Experience low power design techniques
• Experience leading technical initiatives and key deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with modern ASIC/FPGA design and verification tools
• Knowledge of UVM and Matlab
• Experience with physical implementation flows
