Sr. Advisor Consultant, Highland Capital Brokerage

Location: ALL LOCATIONS & REMOTE

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $55,000 - $150,000 expected 1st year earnings in a draw plus uncapped commission-based payment structure with excellent earning potential.

Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Advisor Consultant to join Highland Capital Brokerage, part of Advisor Group. The role involves selling life, LTC, DI, and annuity products to various financial professionals and institutions. Responsibilities include recruiting and educating new producers, guiding them from initial sales concepts to closing, and focusing on advisor retention and re-engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and engage advisors across channels to introduce insurance planning.
  • Promote and facilitate sales of insurance products and annuities.
  • Recommend products adhering to supervision and due diligence standards.
  • Understand compliance and suitability rules, including SEC, FINRA, and DOL regulations.
  • Train and educate advisors on insurance products.
  • Develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities using enterprise technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for case design, reporting, and product selection.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; H.S. Diploma or GED plus relevant experience considered.

Basic Requirements:

  • Insurance license required.
  • 5+ years of brokerage or life insurance experience.
  • 3+ years relevant financial services experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
