Would you like to be part of a team that is redefining the IT industry? Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a dynamic results-oriented candidate to join as the Senior Partner Development Manager, ASEAN.

Reporting into the ASEAN Partner Organization Leader, as the Acceleration Partner Development Manager for ASEAN within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS' services and solutions, driving strategic initiatives across a portfolio of partners and solution providers.

Your responsibilities include defining and executing the partner program, establishing business and technical relationships, and managing daily interactions with the ASEAN Partner Organization and ASEAN Leadership to build and execute strategic partner initiatives with our most strategic partners, aiming to foster long-term business and marketing opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess both a business background capable of engaging at the CXO/VP level and a sales and partner management background to lead and influence peers and partners across alliance, partner development, partner sales, and account teams. They should also have the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and to build compelling value propositions. Experience working in large, matrix organizations with diverse stakeholders, especially with large software providers, BCAP, and GSIs, is critical. The candidate should be a self-starter, motivated, results-driven, with a bias for action.

*This opportunity is open to talents in all ASEAN countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam), and roles will be based in the candidate's location (no relocation required).

Key job responsibilities
  1. Manage strategic business development and growth initiatives to support acceleration of ASEAN’s key partnerships in collaboration with Partner Development Managers, Partner Sales Managers, and ASEAN Sales Leadership.
  2. Build and lead our Executive Connect mechanism with strategic partners and customers to accelerate GenAI and digital transformations with C-Suite engagement.
  3. Establish and execute strategic planning, initiatives, and operational mechanisms to drive organizational acceleration.
  4. Lead partner marketing initiatives, aligning partner strategies with marketing plans and serving as the primary sponsor for marketing and strategic communications with partner marketing and PR teams.
  5. Engage with AWS partner sales and core teams to support partner growth through new capabilities and services development.
  6. Manage and develop relationships with multiple sales and partner leadership stakeholders, building trust and executing initiatives that support sales and partner strategies.
  7. Contribute to high-quality executive communications and coach team members on document quality to accelerate initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 15+ years of professional experience in the tech industry, including 10+ years in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • Experience across multiple ASEAN countries.
  • Experience developing strategies influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating releases.
  • Experience in driving partnerships across co-sell, programmatic execution, and building partner capabilities with consulting, advisory, and technology partners.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience negotiating and executing complex legal agreements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of securing executive and stakeholder commitment through business cases.
