SQL Query Writer
Remote
2-Year FTC
£30,000 - £34,500 + Holiday + Bonus

This is an excellent opportunity for an SQL Query Writer to join a nationally renowned business within its sector and play a major part in upcoming developments on a 2-year FTC.

This company specialises in facilities management and building maintenance services across the UK, covering a wide variety of industries. They focus on solutions for engineering, cleaning, security, and project management, emphasizing operational efficiency. With new contracts and acquisitions, there is a focus on growing the Software division to meet demand.

In this role, you will be responsible for data query development, writing and fine-tuning complex SQL queries for MySQL and T-SQL databases. The role also involves cloud data management within Azure and AWS, handling ETL pipelines and integrations, and maintaining data accuracy and security in cloud environments. Additionally, you will conduct data analysis and generate insights, examining large datasets to identify trends and opportunities to improve operations, turning raw data into actionable business insights.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL query writing for both MySQL and T-SQL
• Strong understanding of data structures and relational databases
• Practical experience with Azure and AWS platforms
