We are looking for a Junior - Mid level DBA for a really exciting opportunity with a consultancy who values their employees and their personal and professional development. You will be working with various clients on Database Administration, providing lots of variety and autonomy in the role, and you'll be involved in both internal and external projects.

You must have at least 1 year of experience working within a DBA role in an SQL environment. You'll have the opportunity to gain exposure in skills such as Azure SQL, RDS for SQL Server, T-SQL, PowerShell, disaster recovery, SQL health-checks, and reporting. We do not require experience in all of these areas, but you must be motivated to upskill and learn in this role.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who enjoys both independent work and team collaboration. You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload and drive your own professional development. Responsibilities:

• Managing database access and permissions.
• Ensuring that databases meet users' requirements.
• Liaising with programmers, clients, and other technical staff.
• Reviewing and managing database security, integrity, and backup procedures.
• Devising and implementing processes for resolving faults and data loss.
