Job description

The SQL Developer is responsible for creating and managing BI solutions to support better business decision making. This is a technical role primarily focused on SQL.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve dataflow issues promptly.
• Develop SQL solutions including CTEs, Stored Procedures, SSIS, and BIML.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and execute project plans within scheduled timelines.
• Perform quality assurance on changes to the production system.
• Recommend and implement improvements for reporting solutions.
• Suggest and implement new data sources.
• Stay updated on business operations and BI processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in building data lakes is desirable.
• Proficiency in SQL across various databases, including ETL and SSIS.
• Understanding of BI development methodologies.
• Knowledge of supply chain systems and processes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience in BI development environments.
• Ability to communicate confidently with all stakeholder levels.
• Experience managing BI/IT projects within schedule and quality gates.
