Overview

Stamford Park Trust Sport, Community & Leisure

Site Supervisor

Casual Position – TBC hours p/week

Salary: Grade C, Scale Points 13 – 15

Start date: October 2025

Stamford Park Trust Sport, Community & Leisure manage and operate various school and college venues across Tameside. The dual working approach of providing outstanding sporting facilities for students alongside opening the venues up to our local communities to access high quality health, wellbeing and sport provision is our key goal.

This post is a multi-site role where you will be at the forefront of ensuring each of our venues is open to our community club bookings providing high standard of customer service, facility upkeep, facility supervision and become a key asset and input into our facility development plans on this exciting journey.

Responsibilities
  • You will take pride in ensuring the facility is clean, tidy and set up for each of our bookings and community users
  • You will take a pro-active approach to facility supervision and customer liaison
  • Be able to priorities & complete a range of maintenance and facility upkeep tasks from pitch maintenance tasks to sporting equipment day to day maintenance checks and basic repairs
  • Have a positive approach to the health, sport and leisure sector as we help support our communities and schools becoming more physically active.
  • Be able to work well independently and have good time management skills.
  • Understand and share the vision of our goal to provide high quality health, wellbeing and sport facilities to provide the best provision and outcomes for our students and wider community across each venue.
